Research On Flow Field About Afterbody Of Civil Aircraft

The research was made on the afterbody flow field of civil aircraft. The numerical simulation and aerodynamic experiments have all been executed in this paper.Firstly, the numerical simulation was performed on the fuselage by solving the incompressible N-S equation. Secondly, with the aid of flow visualization and seven-hole probe experiment on the fuselage, the afterbody wake flow was investigated clearly. Finally, the seven-hole probe experiment was made on the wake flow of the fuselage with empennage and engine cabins. The boundary layer measurement has also been executed on the afterbody of the fuselage with empennage and engine cabins.
