With the advancement of calculating theory and design technology, as well as the wide application of computer in the engineering design area, the bridge structure is developing towards large span, thin section, and prestress. The bridge construction scheme is also made great progress. With the research on construction project, the construction of the bridges over the river or the gorge is becoming more and more simple, efficient and economical. With the reasons that the technical content of these new technology, new material and new craft is much higher, the design cycle is much shorter, and the operation diathesis and experience of some design personnel is not much sufficient, then some bridges have disfigurements before their construction. For this we ever paid painful cost, and assimilated profound lessons from this. On the other side, a lazy design phenomena also exists, which ignores the construction numeration and magnifies the safety factor random only on the basis of experience, then oversize structure and more steel are employed. Then some materials and resources are wasted and the construction appearance is very clumsy, so we need optimize the construction numeration. Recently the roadway engineering byelaws has already been carried out in our country, the execution instance for which is also been checked in the design phase. So establishing design check institute that auditing design files termly is a tarnal important phase in the pre-jobs of the project.The bridge rotation construction craft is the efficient method especially in the gorge, cliff, or arduous landform for its simple erection equipment, short time limit, safe construction. And it can avoid upper air works to ensure the construction quality. So it has great market competition capacity, wide foreground of application and development, high generalize value. But comparing with other general construction craft, it is a new craft. And it must be studied and perfected in the theory and practice. At present the west in our country is being explored. In order to develop its economy the basic facility building is the most important job especially the transportation, which provides the channels for necessary resourcesand personnel. But the west area is mainly coteau, in a highway there are many bridges, so the construction is very difficult, which results in the high expense.Hubei province is located in the joint of many provinces and is a main drag connecting east and west. So the main drag to west must be established, especially the highway construction from WuHan to LiChuan. Thus the generalization of the bridge rotation construction has profound significance in reality.In this paper the purpose and significance of design checking is emphasized first, then the developing status and the basic method of bridge rotation construction. Combining with the basic analysis process of FEM, the author clarifies the reality significance and developing foreground on studying the bridge rotation construction and analyses some problems in present design. With computer and FEM the author optimized the preliminary sketch of a bridge -HuangLingDong bridge in ChangYang county, HuBei province. With checking and optimization, some rational suggestions on bridge location, shape and overall arrangement is put forward. After construction checking, the author also puts forward some requests for construction pre-cove and safety pier setting, at the same time gives optimum design on joint balance pier. Construction structure checking indicated that not only the strength and stability coefficient of rotation stiffness framework is affluent, but also the section size. Thus the structure design is too conservative. For this the author has put forward the method for structure optimization, thereby the project investment is reduced largely. It can also quicken the construction progress and heighten the bridge appearance. Finally some research suggestions on bridge rotation construction are brought forth.
