Flight Simulation Of Helicopter

Simulation that is the developing of the flight dynamics of helicopter is the best way to study maneuver flight of helicopter. A six-degree simulation model of helicopter is established in this paper. The aerodynamic data is calculated with derivatives that can be identified from some data tested. The six-degree model is compared with a Russia simulation model of helicopter. The comparison shows that the six-degree model is good for maneuver flight simulating but the Russia's model is only applied in analyzing flight quality because of lacking some derivatives. At the last, some maneuver flight simulations are calculated with the six-degree model. Somersaulting flight of helicopter is analyzed simply. It is obtained that the limit of overload is important in somersaulting flight of helicopter.
