This paper calculates the linefrequency electromagnetic field of distribution device areas of the 500k V transformer substation through the CDEGS software, and analyzes its distributive law and variational direction, points out the disturbance produced by it to surrounding, then brings forward some beneficial advance for the constructs of practical electrical projects and for the running and maintenance of the transformer substation. On this basis, electromagnetic compatible principle is given, electromagnetic shielding technical theory and shielding efficiency calculation formula are mainly discussed, and this paper analyzes merits and bugs about whole closing of protective small-room which is currently transferred to distribution device areas, calculates shielding efficiency under its different conditions or its different models aiming at the conservative shortcoming of protective small-room, and advances some mending measures and suggestions for futural design of protective small-room.
