According to Technical Innovation fund important project for scientific & technical small and medium-sized enterprises in 2000,the research institute of special electrical machines of Shenyang University of Technology sets up the project, the CAD development platform for electrical machines, for the goal of high-performance electrical machine design software. After the partial module of the CAD development platform for electrical machines is finished, this dissertation is devoted to do research on the two-dimension dynamic electromagnetic field software of permanent magnet synchronous motor. Through the detailed analysis of the modules of former software, the main contents concerned with the key and general problems are divided into several parts as follow: first, the former computing program is mainly used to compute steady state electromagnetic field and not suitable for dynamic electromagnetic field, so the first necessary job is to adjust the relevant parts of computing program to satisfy our needs. In the process of adjusting computing program, the computation of air gap between stator and rotor is very important to overall performance of computing program. The algorithm of finding boundary point according to input logic data, including the outer boundary of rotor and the inner boundary of stator, is proposed to deal with the problem of mesh by the way of relative motion between stator and rotor. Second, in order to solve the practical problems, such as the problem that the computation for dynamic electromagnetic field costs a great deal of time and so does the drawing of electromagnetic field, the author establishes the reasonable program structure combined with advanced computer technology such as multi-thread in order to shortencomputation time. At the same time, the module of scheduler is established and some programs are improved by the ways of dynamic link library after the interface problems between vb and fortran are solved.The application of developed software to the treatment of electromagnetic field computation results of permanent magnet synchronous motor indicates that the graph can provide designers valuable figurative reference. Meanwhile, the software is programmed according to the standard object-oriented programming method, so it is of great translatability and currency, and it can also be really maintained and expanded.
