This paper is mainly concerned with the utilization of the gcofabric and the geogrid in the steep reinforced slope engineerings fromz the aspects of the reinforced soil pull-out test in the laboratory and the stability analysis of the steep reinforced slopes.First, it introduces the composition of the pull-out instrument which made named "numerical displaying and two jack pull-out friction instrument" and how to select the major parameters. Then, it presents two methods of the pull-out tests to the different stress-strain characteristics for the geofabric and the geogrid.Third, it puts forward the logarithmic spiral failure surface Bishop steep reinforced slope limit equilibrium stability analysis method. This method is used to calculate the engineering living example and compared with the calculations of the engineering living example and compared with the calculations of the Swedish circle method and proved applicable. Through analyzing those calculations, it gets some significant conclusions about the potential failure surface of the steep reinforced slopes.
