Study On The Traffic-flow Model Use In Lattice Boltzmann Method

Intelligent Transpotation System(ITS)assembles advanced information technology, communication technology, control technology, sensor technology, and system integration technology effcitive in large-scale, real time, exact, and efficient transportion system. Traffic-flow theory is one of the basic problem in the research of ITS.Traffic-flow theory is a frontier and developing science that seeks to describe the characteristic of traffic in flow mechanics and mathematical and physical way. At present,there isn't an integrated theoretical system. In the research of traffic-flow model, the development and perfection of traffic flow theory has incarnated the deepness and width in research. Capacty research is limited to experimential or semi-experimental method so far because of the complexity of traffic behavior. Each country has respective method that isn't prevalent. There isn't a set of widely accepted theoretical system.In this paper, traffic flow has been studied from the viewpiot of hydrodynamics, and the traffic flow theory has been used to research and simulate the model of traffic-flow and simulation.Aiming at the key issues of fluid dynamics method applications in traffic-flow, the main work, based on the extensive inquisition and pursuing the evolution and status in quo, is presented as following:The first chapter introduce the study results of traffic-flow in the world and bring forward the question that been studied.In the second chapter, firstly, the development of lattice Boltzmann method is introduced simply. And the essential idea and function of lattice Boltzmann model are forth, and the other hand, several typical mathematical of fluid dynamics of traffic-flow are presented and analyzed and compared with each other. The characteristics and scope of application of these models are also dicussed.In the third chapter, lattice Boltzmann method is introduced into the reserch of traffic-flow, the lattice Boltzmann model for determined traffic flow isproposed directly departing from the LW model of determined traffic.In the fouth chapter, the model of Lattice Boltzmann model isused for the determining of traffic flow(including isolated, synchronous changing red-green signal case expressway incident traffic-flow etc. ), and the real traffic problem is simulated, the results show that the lattice Boltzmann model for determined traffic flow is reliable, so the intensive research will be taken out later on.
