With the rapid development of city construction, the desire for developing large span and large space civil construction becomes especially exigent in order to meet the public's variable demands on the usage and living circumstances. On the basis of summarizing the main performance index of the current floor slab system, this paper developed a new structural shape-the cast-in-place pre-stressed compound floor slab system. The new structure was discussed detailed according to the theoretical analysis, calculational methods, material design and experimental research.First, integrating the under-load and structural performance of pre-stressed compound floor slab, the analytical theory and mechanic methods of compound floor slab were expounded, at the same time the filling materials were also studied. Secondly, through the examination and observation of the structural model of the cast-in-place pre-stressed compound floor slab system, under the normal usage load, the normal usage limit-state and the failing load, we have validated the space working-feature of the structural model under variable loads, including the rigidity, the crack, failing-state, failing load and the stress variation of the pre-stressed bar, and so on. Finally, on the basis of experimental research and theoretical analysis, the design calculational method of the cast-in-place pre-stressed compound floor slab system was presented; in addition, the wide applying prospect of the structure system was exhibited by engineering living example.The experimental studies and theoretical analysis showed that the cast-in-place pre-stressed compound floor slab system had good working performance and strong structural applicability, as well as is a ideal structure system.
