According to the requirements on the power plant running economy and the operation management, in the light of the different thermal power systems of boiler and turbine, a set of intact performance optimization and management system for the anthracite power plant is designed. Applying for BP neural networks and genetic algorithms, online calculation of the efficiency of boiler was realized, the method on calculation standard value for the boiler's main operation parameters was put forward, and online analysis of economy was detailed research. At the same time, applying for traditional energy conservation theory, analysis model for stream turbine thermodynamic system was built, under the off-design condition which is monitoring both size and distribution of energy-conserving potentiality and which analyzing the reasons on decline of economical performance in real time. It has been proved from practical application that the energy-loss analysis system can not only monitor on-line the running state of thermal system, but also diagnose units running economy and instruct operator, which played important function in improving the operational economics and reliability.
