To Identify parameter from synchronous machine is an imperative issue for Power System. With the development of the computer technology, it is possible for synchronous machine to identify parameter on-line from operating data. This paper is desirous to devise a device of gathering and dealing with the electric datum by using the high speed DSP TMS320F206 of TI Company as CPU, and to apply it to the parameter on-line identification of synchronous machines. Firstly, the necessary and significance are attached to the parameter on-line identification of synchronous machines in this paper, and the domestic and overseas development circumstances of the parameter identification of synchronous machines are introduced also. The third chapter introduces in detail various methods of the parameter identification of synchronous machines, and brings forward and analyses the method based on DSP of the parameter on-line identification of synchronousmachines, and then expatiate on the hardware design of the device of gathering datum, DSP program and CPLD program.Finally, identify the parameter of synchronous machine of 5kW using this device in the laboratory.
