Support engineering of deep excavation involves many fields. In these fields, there are not only the problems of engineering structure design, but also of foundation, rock soil mechanics and environment protection. With development of city construction, this has been one of the hot and difficult problems in the groundwork and base engineering.On the basis of project of ShenSheng MeiLi Garden, this paper has provided an across-the-aboard analysis and study on deep excavation retaining from the aspects of reconnaissance, design, construction and monitoring. The strength and stability of diaphragm wall are calculated respectively during different period(digging period and application period etc), according to different plans in choosing concatenation wall. It is proved that the support plan of excavation protection of MeiLi Garden is safe by introducing diaphragm wall and two horizontal steel supports. It is also proved that the total cost of that is low.Based on the result of calculation and monitoring, the relationship between the displacement of diaphragm wall and the depth and speed of digging is analyzed. And also the influence to surrounding building caused by digging and precipitation during construction are discussed in this paper. So it is pointed out that digging and pore stake are the key influence factors on the safety of the whole support system. Further, a detailed analysis for steel support and strengthening measure for steel support are present.In this paper, the rationality of construction plan of deep excavation and the efficiency of measures in the course of stake dug and water douched back during construction are all proved. Also the problems which should be paid attention to during the period of design and construction are brought forward, which provide profitable experience for the future in similar engineering construction.
