System identification is always an important approach to controller design, but with the complexity, nonlinearity and uncertainty of the system more and more serious, traditional identification method has become difficult to deal with it. Neuro-fuzzy identification technology is adaptive to nonlinearity and uncertainty because of the characters itself, so it can identify a complex and morbid system effectively.On the other hand, the BLDC motor has the advantages of AC motor in its simple structure, reliable operation and convenient maintenance etc., as well as those of DC motor in its high efficiency, no excitation loss and better speed control etc., so it has wonderful foreground in many fields, and becomes the hotspot of researches at home and abroad.In this article we developed a BLDC motor controller based on MC68HC908MR8 and PC33896, and wrote control program for it.Based on these, an advanced neuro-fuzzy identification technology was introduced to the BLDC motor, and an accurate mathematical model of brushless DC motor was built.According to this model, the parameters of PID controller used in the BLDC motor were optimized. These parameters were used in the PID control software and the result was very exciting.A fuzzy controller for the brushless DC motor was also designed, and the simulation result shows that the fuzzy controller performed well. And the method for using this fuzzy controller in real system was introduced.
