When the conventional two-stage PFC converter is applied to performance the wide output voltage, the system stability can be a problem after integration of the two-stage converter, even though each converter is designed properly for stand-alone operation. In order to keep away from the unstable area and maintenance the system stability in wide output range, how to design the two-stage circuit parameters is a question for discussion. This problem is analyzed and researched in this dissertation. The dissertation includes five chapters. At first, the average-current controlled Boost PFC and Buck converter small-signal model are estabished. The average-current controlled Boost PFC and Buck converter prototype are designed and manufactured. On basis of the small-signal model, the two-stage I/O impedance characteristic and Miller effect are analyzed by simulation with MATLAB software. The time-dominance simulation of the two-stage converter and the integrated system experimental is performanced. The simulative and experimental results indicate that the theory analysis is ture. The system stability is achieved with designing the related parameters by Nyquist criterion.
