The optimal operation model for the multi-storage system is studied with requirement of GuangXi RongJiang. This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part: short-term hydrologic forecast methods of reservoir runoff are researched. On the base of the popular short-term hydrologic forecast models, Xin'anjiang model, the Sacramento model and the Tank model are used to simulate and analyze the Rongjiang river basin and Result are analyzed contrastivelyThe second part: the economic running problems are studied in the water power station, and the newest results are used in the water power station in Rongjiang river basin. Load optimum allocation methods are studied specially. The economic running problems are used in Mashi and Fushi power station. It is tested with data of Mashi hydroelectric station, the result show that the economic operation can increase economic benefit of hydroelectric station. The third part: a reservoir operation system is built up. It includes Water level control model, discharge control model and generation model. This system can be used for generation operation or flood control operation in different runoff situation, whether in flood period or in non-flood period. And, it can also supports reasonable operation of water power station. The fourth part: on the base of presence production, decomposition-coordination for multi-storage system optimal operation is presented. The optimal operation of multi-storage system is analyzed by using the dcomposition-coordination decision method, initially set up decomposition-coordination decision method for multi-storage system optimal operation. The model takes account into the influence of flow, this model is practiced in Mashi reservoir and Fushi reservoir and results shows that the method presented is reasonable.
