Base on the problem of the pipe explosion in 670t/h boiler's high - temperature-super-heater (HTSH), a serials of tests were preformed in the locale of the accident. Meanwhile we analyzed the reason and put forward systematic treatment scheme, which and then were successfully applied in practice. First of all we estimated that the main reason for the accident was the long time running under high-temperature of HTSH by analyze the exploded pipe and its inner structure. Further more we analyzed the flux error in steam side and calculated the data, then we found the difference of flux error among pipes in the same pane. For this reason , it effected the characteristic of HTSH. Finally, we summarized the reason of the explosion and worked out systematic prevention method and technical disposal.We concluded the following two main reasons for the explosion. One was the systematic effect, which were made by both thermal error in smog side and flux error in steam side, leading to the pipe explosion of elbow's combusting side in HTSH. The other was the remained circumgyration at the ontlet in boil's hearth. Followed by the reconstruct on thrice-air supply system and the addition of flux reducers, we eliminated errors both in smog and steam sides . Through the experiments on site, we found out the operational condition which caused the superheated of HTSH and added a set of inspecting device in combustion system to avoid it. With our efforts on the reconstruct of the equipment and the adjustments of the operational condition the operational status of HTSH have improved significantly.So we achieved our study purpose.
