Transformer Calibrator is widely used by the electric power department and the measure department. However, the Transformer Calibrators used in our country now are behind the times, most of them were developed in 1960-1970 years, although there are some digital and intelligent products , they are not very satisfied for the many reasons, such as the stability is not good, the display of digital is slow, the degree of automation is low ,.and so on. So to develop a new type of Transformer Calibrator which has the high precision and the high degree of automation is significative .For the outdated Transformer Calibrator is widely used, this paper analyzed the theory of previous calibrators and proposed an idea of designing a new type of intelligent calibrator, based on the theory of measure the difference ,adopt the project of DSP and MCU structure , also use high speed A/D electric chip .After the design of hardware circuit diagram , adopt the theory of FFT and Quasi-Synchronous Sampling Method to reach the demand of precision. This paper discuss the intelligent development of Transformer Calibrator ,achieve some success in the study. There are five chapters in this paper. The first one introduces the development of Transformer Calibrator , put forward the significance and content of this paper. The second chapter introduces DSP technique and the use of it in electric system. The third chapter introduces the theory of transformer and the theory of Transformer Calibrator. The fourth chapter introduces the hardware design of Transformer and its ideas .The fifth chapter introduces the software design and its methods.
