The precast and pretressed continuous beam has the great advantage of bigger span , convenience and faster in construction . But there are little application in our country now . The precast and pretressed continuous beam is differente from the monolithic prestressed continuous beam in capability. So there shoule be difference in performance on load . Because of little research in this field , I designed and tested three beams which is two-span continuous beams. This papar examines experimentally and theoretically the performance on ultimate load and the moment redistribution. Throw the research we can get the performance of the joint of the unbond precast and pretressed continuous beam and how the moment redistributes. We got the conclusion that compare the monolithic prestressed continuous beam ,the unbond precast and pretressed continuous beam has short amplitude modulation capacity.
