The Research Of Aesthetic Meaning Of High-Rise Building

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and investigate the aesthetic meaning of High-rise building and the methods of designing in all-round dimensions. First, the thesis sets up a synthetic system relating to the evolution of high-rise buildings style and methods of designing in a historical and systemic way. The thesis studies on the meaning of high-rise buildings from the viewpoints of aesthetic experience, civil environment, plan design, construction analysis, and emphasizes the idea of high-rise building being a complicated complex. Then, the thesis analyzes high-rise buildings' basic shapes and ways of composition, meanwhile, some representative modem buildings are chosen as examples to be analyzed in detail. So, by analyzing the different styles of buildings' forms and variousarchitectural culture, the way of design is summarized for solving practical problems .Moreover, in order to enhance the image of high-rise buildings in detail, more analysis for the rule of elevation design has been made based on the study of form composition. The thesis puts forward the image of high-rise buildings' form and facades in the future by analyzing subjective conception of contemporary culture.The first chapter has introduced meaning and urgency of the subject studies. The second chapter has narrated the essence of building aesthetics and the development of high-rise building aesthetic styles, basic aesthetic principle of the high-rise building, shapes and ways of composition of the high-rise building, the technological impact on aesthetics of the high-rise building, high-rise building's impact on urban aesthetics, which have introduced the relation between high-rise building aesthetic and urban aesthetics. The third chapter has introduced aesthetic methods of high-rise building designing, whichincludes high-rise building aesthetic, the types of high-rise building shape, and the main point of designing high-rise building. The forth chapter has introduced high-rise building aesthetics of every period. The last chapter has given representative examples to summary it.In general, with the combination of theories and practices, the whole thesis understands preliminarily and makes an actual research on high-rise buildings' form composition and elevation design-Giving an explanation and forecast of high-rise buildings' design in accordance with the new art conceptions and relating architectural phenomenon, and using them in the practice, is just the purpose of the thesis.
