With the development of production, gears drive are used widely, and double circular arc gears have some advantage that involute gears can't compare. The profile parameters of double circular arc gears affect dynamic performance strongly. Double circular arc gears are the complex special helical gear, and the design of the profile parameters is very flexible. Therefore, in this dissertation, it is very important to study the tooth profile parameters optimum on double circular arc gears by means of modern design method and computer technique. According to the effect of the parameters to bending strength of double circular arc gears, this paper applies modern design method such as the finite element method (FEM)and optimum to establish a method of the correct tooth profile by finding the optimum tooth profile parameters.The thesis have analyzed the state of engage state by establishing Equation of engage and give the equation of the gear engage line and j the figure of contact line. On this condition, compared influence of Errors of the center distance and helix angle to dynamic performance of double circular arc gears.On the base of the profile parameters of double circular arc gears GB12759-91, we Optimal design it by using CVM01 of The Center China Engineering University and have established the parametric entity model of the Double circular arc gears after analyzing the constraints and dimension-parameter.With a view to complexity of the structure of double circular arc gears, the thesis takes advantage of the parametric entity model in Pro/Engineer3D , and establishes the FEM model of double circular arc gears. Then exports it to The FEM software of ANSYS and analyzes the Bending stress at root of the gears.
