A kind of dispatch and supervision system(DSS) of mine railway is introduced in this thesis, which is based on single chip microcontroller(SCM) and has been applied to dispatch project of mine railway in Xinmi, Zhengzhou. The system deals with acquisition of more than one thousand signals, long-range data communication, simulated display on large plastic screen, and computer serial communication, graphics reappears of stations, malfunction analysis, etc. After using this system, dispatcher can timely and accurately master conditions of signal equipments and train running in control center, where is one hundred kilometers from railway station.This system mainly comprises subsystems of signal acquisition, data communication and central supervision. Each subsystem adopts modularization thinking. The thesis mainly introduces design of each module's hardware circuit and software program. In order to simplify connection, extending and maintenance, distributed acquisition system is composed via RS485 bus. signal acquisition module uses voltage comparator to identify true signal and interferential signal for improving ability of anti-interference. Aiming for data relay transmission of multi-stations by telephone line, data communication module adopts two SCM configuration and one is for data collection, the other is for data receiving and transmitting with MODEM, simulative SPI finishes data communication between two SCM and simplifies circuitry structure. Utilizing time division multiplexing technology, communication module resolves coordination of time sequence. In order to synthesize data of three directions and send them to computer via a serial port, multi-signal synthesis module adopts four SCM configuration to synthesize data of three directions and simplifies program of computer communication. Thus the system successfully realizes simulated display of stations on large plastic screen and computer screen at the same time. Result of practical operation manifestates the system works steadily and has good real-time capability, it satisfies spot requirement and brings much convenience for dispatch work. So it not only can be applied to dispatch and supervision of other small-scaled railways, but also offers a kind of methodology of long-range data communication.
