Seepage is an important factor which influences the distortion and stress state of thedam, as well as the stability of the skewbacks. Usually, large seepage pressure leads to thewreck of the waterworks. As a result, computation of the seepage field in rocks isindispensable in the design and running of the hydro-projects. However, the seepagecharacteristics and the boundary are often complex. The theme of this thesis concentrates on hydro- projects' seepage field in rocks, including the properties of the seepage which flow through both hole qualitative like rocksand fractured rocks.Firstly, present the finite element analyzing program SEEPHOL which can solve theproblem of three dimensional seepage field in hole qualitative rock medium. The programrealized the analysis of seepage field which has free faces and the method of imagine pointson free faces is taken. Apply the program in Pakistan's hydro-project Gomal Zam,computed the seepage field in the dam foundation and dam abutments. Through thecomputation of the project's seepage field, the validity and rationality of the program isgranted. Besides, some further research is done on the decision of the model range limitand the influence of the pariah shape.By software ANSYS, the author respectively built two-dimensional andthree-dimensional fractured rocks' models. Using the discrete and continuous modelingmethod, the programSEEP2DFRT realized the analyzing of two-dimensional seepage field.Combine the discrete modeling method with the continuous method, looking on the waterhead of the main fractures as the boundaries of the fractured rocks, taking the waterexchange which takes place in the faces of fissure in consideration, deduced thethree-dimensional seepage equation. Based on the equation, the program SEEP3DFRTrealized the analysis of three-dimensional seepage field in fractured rocks.
