The.NuJiang river bridge analyzed in this article, which will be built on the Bingda-Zhonglinka road in ZuoGong , ChangDu of XiZang Province, will be able to benefit greatly the economy and traffic in this area. In order to make this hope true.it is necessary and important that doing some research on the bank slopes on the two ends of the bridge. In this article , firstly, the author analyzed the bank slopes by similar model experiment method and got the change of the slope rock' s stress and displacement under all levels of load or devised load. What the author has known through analyzing the change is the following: under the devised load , the change of the slope rock' s stress and displacement whether on the left end or on the right end is too tiny to affect the slope rock' s stability;on the other hand , when the load was large enough, the right slope rock would become being destroyed which was be represented by the draw destruction and shear destruction on the incline, while the left slope rock had no change. So taking steps to reinforce the right slope rock was advised. On the other hand, by the experiment, the author has suggested that we could use the method?"leaning the model box and filling the box step by step" to make the whole model.Secondly, the author had mathematic statistics to the characteristic of the bank slope rock' s stress and displacement through the large internet application-FLAC 2. 25 based on the finite difference method and has also got the change of the slope rock' s stress and displacement under all levels of load or devised load, and then had the similar conclusion to the similar model experiment.Finnally, according to the above conclusion , the author analyzed comprehensively the stability of the bank slope rock and concluded that the bridge bank slope would be stable under the devised load.
