Strengthening concrete structure with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) is a newstructural repair method in recent years. Because of its high strength, resistance to electrochemical erosion, low manpower demand for application and minimal changes in geometricaldimensions of the member, the method has been found to be economical and efficient forapplication.Based on the previous work, we studied the anchoring capacity of reinforced concrete(RC)beams strengthened with the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic, emphasized on the effects of position ,quantity and space etc of U-hoop of CFRP on the anchorage property of longitudinal CFRP, and gave simple efficiency anchorage measure to avoid the sudden debonding failure .In this paper, the bending capacity of reinforced concrete (RC)beams strengthened with the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic, were tested .The influence factors of concrete strength, reinforcement ratio and the number of CFRP etc. Additionally, the stiffness and crack performance of the above tested are analyzed. Normal section flexural load-bearing capacity of reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened with the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic is validated, and corrected the discount quotation of bending capacity of CFRP. Finally, the calculate method of load-bearing capacity can be applied in real engineering is introduced.In this paper, the experiment of reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened with the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic is modeled with the software of ANSYS, and the outcome correlates well with experiment data.
