The mechanics instance in initiator when the pills impact the target is different from when the pill is excited by force. The former is characterized by shock wave load. The measure method using Free-hopkinson bar and spart-hopkinson bar werefounded. The curves for relation of dynamic stress, dynamic strain, dynamic strain-ratio, time, velocity and over-loading acceleration in the initiators are attained when the shock wave is loaded. At the same time, the stress clouds, stress value, the over-loading acceleration-time curve and stress-time curve in the initiator are attained, after the experimentations were simulated by the large FEA software-Ansys/Ls-dyna.It is shown that the experimenting results agree with the one of simulation these results are demonstrated as following points:(1) It is reasonable that the initiators and the parts are loaded by the way of shock wave in the course of the pills' impacts. It is proved that this experimentation is feasible.(2) The free-hopkinson aluminum bar can attain loading-coefficient about 50000-150000G; The free-hopkinson steel bar about 70000-250000G ; The split-hopkinson aluminum bar about 50000-90000G; The split-hopkinson steel bar about 70000-150000G. It is deduced that the equipments and technology can satisfy check of loading capacity of the initiators during the bills' launching and impacting.(3) When the parts is loaded by shock wave, the peak-width of plus-acceleration is about 20祊s on initiator.(4) The security and configuration instability for the over-loaded B-detonator is discussed in this paper. And the bases are founded for application and accident analysis of these primers.
