Annular Gap Affritor, known as "Mill in 21st century" , is a kind of mill introduced by WUST in 1980' s. It has the characteristics such as low energy consumption, high energy density, high efficiency, narrow distribution of grain size, low noise and so on. As a newly developed mill, Annular Gap Affritor still has many incomplete places. And, because the movement of the medium-balls in it is very complicated, the crushing mechanism of it is still not very clear. So, it' s necessary to study deeply about the structure and crushing mechanism, make clear the law of the movement of the medium-balls to raise it' s crushing efficiency.The research of this article mainly stems from the great scientific research project of the education department: The Study of The Rubbing Dynamics and Influence factors. The main aim of this project is deeply studying the rubbing dynamics of Annular Gap Affritor, prove up it' s ultra crushing mechanism. At the same time, study carefully the influence of the craft-parameters such as the width of gap, the distribution of the rubbing-medium' s granularity, the rotate-speed of the rotator. According to the results of theory analysis, adjust the craft-parameter and improve the structure of the machine. Try to make greater improvement than the original machine on structure of the machine and rubbing efficiency and develop a machine that can rub out ultra-fine powder which is smaller than 10-7m.In this article, I study primarily the crushing mechanism of Annular Gap Affritor and the movement law of the medium-ball in it from two aspects: theory and practice, the main innovations of this article are listed below:(1) Given out the key formula for Annular Gap Affritor' s crushing speed.(2) Using the knowledge of the hydrokinetics theory and combining experimentation, created the modal of the medium-balls' movement in Annular Gap Affritor. Analyze; At the same time, in order to cooperate with the experimentation studying, given out the key formula of the moment received by stator.(3) Simulating the working principle of Annular Gap Affritor, created a test-bed to study the situation of the medium-ball' s movement in it.In addition, this article also analyzed the crushing model of Annular Gap Affritor, the law of the crushing-force in Annular Gap Affritor changes with the rotator' s rotating speed and the influence of flux and pressure to the force received by medium-ball.As a new kind of developed mill, Annular Gap Affritor dose have its merits,but, because the relative theories and technologies are still at preliminary developing stage, there are many incomplete places in it. These factors limit the production capacity and crushing efficiency of Annular Gap Affritor. So it needs to study deeply about Annular Gap Affritor, make clear completely its crushing mechanism. The works of this article are only part of the project, and some works are still very incompletely. There are more works to do to develop an Annular Gap Affritor which can rub out ultra-fine powder. But I believe that our purpose will come true certainly with the continuous development of ultra-fine crushing technology and manufacture craft.
