The multi-channel transient Ralyleigh wave exploration technique is a new technique developed recently, which has a lot of advantages such as high resolution, widely applicable, simple-equipment, efficient, non-destructive and so on.This thesis first demonstrates the history and the state-of-the-art of Ralyleigh wave, and then explains the feasibility and necessary of applying the technique of the multi-channel transient Ralyleigh wave exploration technique to water-power engineering. The relationship between the frequency dispersion curve of Ralyleigh wave and object interior is discussed. It also deeply explores and discusses the digital treating techniques for the data of Ralyleigh wave. And By comparing these techniques, it summarizes both advantages and disadvantages of them and also points out the applicable conditions of them. In Recent years, the 2-D sector filtering method has been used to treat Ralyleigh wave data, and the outcome is approving. But the 2-D sector filtering method has some disadvantage. So the author improves the 2-D sector filtering method, introduces the bang-transit and cake-cut filtering method in frequency- wave count area. By treating the data achieved through exploring the face of slope, we can draw a conclusion that 2-D bang-transit and cake-cut filtering method can filter the noise, get more satisfactory data by controlling frequency and velocity. 2-D bang-transit and cake-cut filtering method has advances such as high efficiency, high degree of accuracy, high distinguish ability and so on, it is an effective digital treating technique in Ralyleigh wave data. When applying the technique of the multi-channel transient Ralyleigh wave exploration technique to water-power engineering, the author detected the interface between the overburden layer and the fracture zone of the earth slide, depth the of fracture zone in Hongmen Hydroelectric Station. At last, the author points out the limitations of the technique of the multi-channel transient Ralyleigh wave exploration technique, and also discusses the prospect and the orientation of the multi-channel transient Ralyleigh wave exploration technique.
