This article focuses on the realization methodology of the bridge state examination and intelligent fault diagnosis system. The system first obtain the five data of a bridge, these data include horizontal amplitude, horizontal frequency<. vertical amplitude, vertical frequency and dynamic flexibility , then use the data to get the synthesis quality and the estimate of future synthesis quality through the intelligent fault diagnosis system.We use PDA and MCS51 single chip computer, and this method not only greatly reduced the volume and weight of the instrument and made it easy for portable use. The system use high precision obliquity sensor, and via examine the obliquity of the bridge to computer the parameters by IIR filter and FFT. The system use one sensor solved the examination problem of horizontal amplitude, horizontal frequency, vertical amplitude, vertical frequency and dynamic flexibility. We studied the intelligent fault diagnoses for a bridge, and use the parameter that examined by the instrument as characteristic parameter, then obtain the synthesis quality and the estimate of future synthesis quality of a bridge by BP artificial neural network.Bridge state examination and intelligent fault diagnosis is a research field that has development potential, and research on the field has practicality value. The research of this article and the good result of our device used in practice proved the correctness of our research. And now, we are doing more research work in this field thoroughly and synthesized.
