The background and signification of ultrasonic motor's research is introduced in this paper. Traveling-wave-type ultrasonic motor's principle and structure are analyzed. According to the equivalent circuit of ultrasonic motor, requests of experimental power for ultrasonic motor are proposed.Some kinds of design of driving circuit for ultrasonic motor are analyzed and the design of this paper is presented.The system are divided into two parts: the control system and the power system. The singlechip is the center of the control system. Frequency and phase are controlled by two singlechip. AD transition chip is used in collection of generated voltage of the piezoelectric element sensor mounted on the ultrasonic motor. According to this method, the work state of motor can be achieved. Frequency and phase can be worked out by singlechip. In the power system ,the DC-AC circuit is realized by push-pull circuit and the driving signal is supplied by UC3875. A Buck-Boost circuit supply power for push-pull circuit and changes its output voltage according to load of push-pull through feedback circuit. The experiment indicates that the system not only meets the requirements of functions but also takes on many merits, as follow:The circuits are more simple and more easy to control because of using UC3875.The system can apply to many kinds of ultrasonic motor.The system can adjust frequency and phase accurately.The system are more inexpensive.
