The Art Of Chinese Traditional Building Environment And The Aesthetics Of Poetry

This article relates Chinese Classical Esthetics in Poem to Traditionally Chinese Architectural Environment Art and studies the interaction between these two artistic classes from cultural strata and the esthetic feelings. The article mainly puts forward "the poetic environment", an esthetics theory, according to the ideal condition in environmental art.At the beginning, the thesis uses the quotation from John Milton's Paradise Lost as the metaphor of some ideas in the following part of the thesis. In Chapter 1, the cause of the research, the present state of the research and the basic point for this thesis are introduced.According to Liu Xi Zai's The Theory of Art ?The Theory of Poem ,Chapter 2 is about the four category of "the poetic environment", such as graceful, magnificent, sublime and leisure circumstance.Chapter 3 is to study the aesthetic character of "the poetic environment", for example: natural landscape, implicit expression, strong emotion and space-time. These are not only the characteristics of the Chinese poem and the traditionally Chinese architectural environment art, but also the core of the Chinese national Characteristics, the national spirit and the national culture.Chapter 4 is to study the specific creation of the poetic environment and use the semantic concept to divide the creation process of the poetic environment into three parts: bestowal of meaning, the transmission and the interpretation. So-called " bestowal of meaning " is to form one's mind, its technique mainly includes: Using the personalized scenery, with the aid of the ideal condition of verse, the use of extremely romantic folklore and the myth; "the transmission" refers to the use of the specific technique in design. This chapter emphasizes the "line" in architectural environment design, the artistic characteristics as well as the formation of the classical elegance and the plain style. As for the "interpretation", it is about the appreciation of the esthetics. Although it does not has direct relation with creation, the poetic ideal of environment should make the designer and the appreciator have the same feeling. The combination of them will form the poetic ideal condition.The part of conclusion emphasizes the principle and the fundamental point of the thesis, proposing using the classical romantic theory to opposite the flashy life and seeking only profit state of the modern environment-designing idea which is controlled by the social capital.
