In this paper, by means of revered cycle loading tests on the two specimens of short shear wall and unbonded prestressed floor system, it analyzes the behavior of this system subjected to horizontal loading , such as, earthquake. At first it studies the role of spandrel beams in the overall response, and investigates the balanced relation among wall's moment, bending beams' moment and spandrels' torque at joint subjected to reversed cycle loading, the moment-torque redistribution rule, and analyzes the factors that influence the rule. Then, it discusses the flexural strengthen ratio between wall and beams, and studies the flange breadth of bending beams. At last, it brings forward the method of designing short shear wall, bending beams and spandrel beams properly.By comparing with reference one, it studies spandrel beams' action during the tests from qualitative analysis. It finds that the torsion status of this system is not important. Analyzing reasons, the author discovers because of the difference between the systems. At the same time, it provides an applicable method of designing spandrel beams.Compounding stiffness is introduced for analyzing the characteristics of moment-torque redistribution rule in the structure subjected to later loading. It is shown from the testing results that the moment-torque rate changes continuously with members stiffness modifying. It counts quantificationally the percentage which bending beams' moment and spandrel beams' torque divide wall's moment depending on bars effective strain, and analyzes factors which influence the moment-torque redistribution disciplinarian by counting machine analysis. It discusses the flange breadth of bending beams when the structure is subjected to lateral loading. In terms of bending beams bars strain and slab bars strain at the range of wall, and crack developing phenomenon at the flange area during the testing, it finds that the slab bars and bending beams top bars, as a whole, resist together outside forces. If ultimate capacity under bending at the beams end sections is considered, the flange breadth of bending beams may be the length of short shear wall. This paper studies the flexural strength ratio between walls and beams at top floor end joint, and debates the non-cohesive prestressed bars effect on resisting earthquake in the structure. Finally concluding the testing results, it puts forward an available measure on how to design short shear walls, beams and cast-in place slab rightly.
