Based on the study of reliability analysis method of reinforced concrete proposed by previous researchers, the basic concept of structural reliability and the first order reliability method (FORM),the second order reliability method (SORM),the numerical simulation method (Monte Carlo method)and the importance sampling scheme are introduced in this paper. On the basis of the above, the author discusses in detail the calculational method of reliability of frame structure failure-dependent engineering system that can be simplified to SHEAR TYPE-STOREY MODEL and puts forward the calculational formula for modifiecation aiming at the problems of reinforced concrete plane frame system reliability. It calculates the failure probability and reliability index when structural failure happens to reinforced concrete plane frame, and it also dissertates the calculational method of system reliabality of reinforced concrete plane frame. In the end , it analyzes system reliability through a case study of five-layer reinforced concrete plane frame structural designed according to the current regulations and evaluates the relationship between local structural failure probability and system total failure probability in this case .
