This paper investigates the mechanism of the boiler's stream-water separating and the effect of separating.We choose the bent plate stream-water separator as the main research object. Through the theoretical analysis we analyze the hydro-dynamics process of separating, establish the model and make the numerical simulation. We discussed the factor which affects the separating effective and the affection extent. We also provide the analysis basis and rational advises for enhancing the effects of stream-water separating. The key technique is to simulate the flow field of steam and drop in bent plates. The technique approach of this investigation is as followed. First, we give the physical model of bent plate stream-water separator. Second, we simulate the steam-water separating in different conditions to discuss the separating effects. Finally, we get these conclusion,1. The effect of vertical bent plate stream-water separator is better than that of level bent plate stream-water separator.2. The big drop is easy to separate. It can help to separate if we can make the drop condense bigger3. When the stream velocity increase the effect of separating increase. But it can not bigger than the maxim velocity.4. The effect of humidity is very little in stream-water separating if the steam humidity in some range.
