Repairing and Strengthening of concrete structures bonded by Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic(CFRP) is a simple and effective technique method for cracked or corroded structures. Composite repairs offer several desirable advantages, such as resistance to corrosion, high strength, light weight, the operation can be carried out relatively quickly and simply even when the structure is still in uses. In addition, the resulting changes in member or structure sizes are very small.the trail analyzed whether the cracked concrete beam is repaired and strengthened by composites or not, the ultimate flexural capacity of cracked concrete beam increases very much and the right layers of bonding by CFRP can exists from the comparing the results of experiments. The finite element analysis (FEA) is performed, and the FEA results agree with the test results. At last, the theories analyze proceed and the simplified formula for evaluation of the cracked concrete beam repaired and strengthened by CFRP according to the former peoples' achievements...
