In this thesis, a new architecture of parallel computation base on multiple DSP chips ADSP-21161N is introduced. The equipment with this architecture has the characters of flexible performance, small size, high reliability, strong adaptability and etc. Then, using this architecture as the hardware core, a high-speed real-time signal processing system is developed. This paper consists of the following parts. Firstly, the principle of Real-time Signal Processing is summarized. Secondly, a new architecture of parallel computation base on multiple DSP chips ADSP-21161N is recommended. Thirdly, the design of radar signal processor is introduced, including the hardware and software. Finally, the scheme base on the combination of high-speed data acquisition system and multiple DSP embedded system is given. Some important issues of the implementation were discussed in details. The result of this paper is successfully applied to in the blue print of some type of active radar seeker, and proved to be feasible and efficient.
