Tunnel disease is a key problem that affects the sustainable development of our country's transportation industry. The diseases mainly include water disease, frozen disease, lining crack and erosion. Water disease is the most common disease style and inducement of other diseases. Proper treatment of water disease is the most important issue in order to eliminate tunnel diseases.As a bottleneck of the enlargement engineering of the Xiangfan-Chongqing railway, the Dabashan tunnel constructed in the 70's of 20th century has serious diseases such as roadbed watering, lining crack and arch top leaking. The thesis takes the Dabashan tunnel as the research objective, discusses the radical, safe and economical countermeasures through analysis and experiments of disease causes.The thesis carries out detailed analysis and calculation of a good number of measure data applying the principles and methods of hydro-geochemistry, isotope hydrogeology, water environment chemistry, groundwater dynamics and specific hydrogeology. The thesis finds out the groundwater environment conditions and dynamics characteristics of the Dabashan tunnel. The related parameters of tunnel groundwater movement are decided. The thesis puts forwards the countermeasures of tunnel diseases and the optimal method of treatment of roadbed watering on base of the technical and economical analysis of different methods.The thesis combines the fundamental geology and hydrogeology works, explores the storage, movement and distribution of groundwater in the point view of groundwater "quality". The method is helpful in finding out the causes of tunnel diseases and lays out a solid foundation of economical, safe and radical treatment of tunnel diseases. The research approaches and viewpoints offers references for the related engineering.
