The curved box girder bridge with single-supported, was used as the structure for expressways and flyovers extensively. Its design calculation is too complicated, and the design parameters are selected by referring to the existing bridge, by trial or by trying calculating in a large amount, so the design work was very time consuming. In the recent years, many problems occurred in the use of the bridge of the kind. In design how prevent from stability badly in need of solution problem. Paper researches and analyses the stability performances of curved girder bridge under vertical load and temperature load.The deduction of Valsov equation of curved girder is given in the paper at first. Then, the paper understands the mechanics performances of curved girder bridge, the solution of structural mechanics and finite element procedure is applied to demonstrate the property of curved box bridge with the different parameters such as central angle, the radius curvature. On the base, the author discussed the condition of calculation method to design curved bridge directly.Then this paper discussed that supporting-way effected the impact on internal force of the curve girder bridge. Using the produce of finite element, the paper researches how Setting pieces of partial to adjust torsion and shape of the curved girder bridge focal points in the design. The author also discusses a balance design method adjusting the pier column eccentricity of curved girder bridge. And the author discusses how the horizontal baffles reform distortion shape of the curved box bridge.At the last of the paper, the distribution of temperature field, the calculation of thermal stress and thermal crack from sunshine on RC. box girders are systematically analyzed.The paper studies stress of cross-section of the curved girder bridge in different temperature mode.On the other hand, the paper analyzes the sudden ensemble displacement in detail by calculation. To counter the design of urban curve beam bridge, it puts forwards some suggestions so as to avoid the accident of the similar project to occur again.
