In recent some years, with extensive application of Self-anchored Suspension Bridge, specially in China , Self-anchored Suspension Bridge is drawing more and more people's attention. It is for aesthetic bridge type of self-anchored suspension bridge and for bargain construction cost. But its design calculation theory and construction technology are weak link, and present theories ,design method and construction method all need to verified, summarized. So it has a important sense for study of these work.In the paper, the methods are summarized from present construction method. Based on the data of Wanxin Bridge, bring forword the compare construction method with practical construction method for the rationality of the first cable-tension, analyses and compare them by ANSYS. The rationality method of first cable-tension is that tensile cables from the bridge tower to midspan and side span with increasing tension. After the first cable-tension, the most cables get the ideal tension except someone.This paper draws some conclusion by analysis for the two construction methods:(1)For suspension cable tension of Self-anchored Suspension Bridge, when the method that tension cable from the bridge tower to midspan or sidespan is applied the cables have obvious reciprocal effect and result in the phenomena of tension relaxation. The cable tension method that from bridge tower to midspan and side span is better than from bridge tower to midspan and the tension is in reason, and the suspension cable tension is better.(2)During construction of suspension cable tension, the displacement of saddle on tower top is affected most obviously by tension in 1/4 midspan and 3/4 midspan.(3)When the first method is applied, the suspension cable tension in 1/4 midspan and 3/4 midspan increase and are most obvious; when the second method, the suspension cable tension in 1/4 midspan and 3/4 midspan decrease and are most obvious. The two methods all lead to the tension of suspension cable of sidespan in nearest bridge tower increase more obviously.
