The goal of this dissertation was to analysize contact stress and wheel pressure of the wheel track gate of Xiaowan hydroplant. It is ground gate for emergency repair which bears the highest design head and maximal load on the earth by now. In fact,it is poor in exercising experience of the wheel track gate and superficial in research on the contact stress of the large load disk roller and cognition of the elasto-plastic deformation, furthermore, it is faulty about knowledge of wheel pressure. So this research is necessary and meaningful whether theorily or practically.In order to ensure the safety and dependability of the wheel track gate, in this paper, author built a 3-D finite element model which is more accurate than model given in design specification for steel gate. Based on the technique, the stress and deformation calculation are developed.In the regulation method of calculating the contact stress of single disk roller, there are some defects, such as discrepancy is bigger between the allowable stress data and testing data. This model also use general thin layer element to simulate interfaces. In other hand, due to only the stress and strain close to interfaces of disk roller are researched, author put forward compatible displacement method of local incompatible mesh. In this method, the nodes belonging to contact block are basic, and the nodes belonging to disk roller are subordinate. The linear interpolation relation between basic nodes and subordinate nodes is founded on the interface. So global linear are deducted. In this equations, unknown variables are basic nodes. Based on these assumptions, compatible displacement relation is founded on the interface. On this method, disk roller's contact stress is obtained and the intensity is verficated.It is difficult to calculate accurately the wheel pressure distributing. Its reason is that the dimension of bearing tread part of the wheel track gate is less and gate system is redundancy, so it is hard to quantify the fabricate precision.In general methods of calculating gate pressure, there is a fault that excess coefficient is rather random, so it is some improper. As wheel track contacts gate slot main rail tightly, the method based on elaxtic foundation is used. While contact is not tightly, the paper use ameliorative gap element method to calculate inpact of the wheel track and the gaps accurately. Result shows above methods is proper.At last, 3D nolinear finite element method is used to analyze the transfigure and stress of the integral structure. In this paper, evaluation rule of safty factor is presented, it is used to appraise stress levsl of gate stressure, some rational conclusions about gate stressure are obtained.
