Study Of Technology Of Aircraft Acoustic Localization Based On Time Difference Of Arrival

As an important aspect of passive detection, acoustic passive localization is one ofthe focuses of study in modern defense system. The emphasis of this thesis is placed onkey technologies of aircraft acoustic localization based on Time Difference of Arrival.First, by analyzing aviation acoustic principle and actual data, an aircraft acousticfeature is selected for target localization. Then on the basis of this, a strategy oftime-delay estimation is proposed by using an adaptive feature extraction algorithm.The effectiveness of the algorithm is proved by experiments, not only getting time-delayestimation, but also compressing communication band. Finally some problems ofTDOA localization are discussed and the errors of aircraft localization are analyzed byusing a four acoustic sensors array. A complete solution of aircraft acoustic localizationis obtained by the thesis.
