The application of the data warehouse technology in electric power system has become one of the most prevalent topics at present. The optimal operation and safety operation of steam turbine have been the most focused. The data warehouse study on the analysis and perdition of the steam turbine performance is just on the primary stage. On the basis of many materials related to the data warehouse and steam turbine technology both domestic and international, the development trend on the current data warehouse technology is outlined, and the solution projects on the major data warehouses are analysed and compared in the thesis. The current information state of in electric power enterprise is analysed, and on the basis of deep analysed for DCS system, data warehouse focused on the analysis and prediction of turbine performance is designed. A system of steam turbine performance analysis and prediction based on data warehouse is developed. The system is practical run using the data of DCS system in Fuzhou Power plant, Unit 1, and the run result is consistent with the actually fact. The result can provide the system can be used to improve science and reliable evidence for economic operation and safe operation of the turbine units. It has very high practical value.
