Super-high-strength concrete and steel reinforced super-high-strength concrete are widely used with the development of the high rising building. The research is carried out for the mechanics performance of super-high-strength concrete and steel reinforcement super-high-strength concrete columns through the test of 19 short columns. The wide use and development of the steel reinforced super-high-strength concrete in mainland and foreign countries is also discussed.Make the design of steel reinforced super-high-strength concrete columns and super-high-strength concrete columns. The main research is λ ,nt, p v, etc. which impact to the shear strength of steel reinforced super-high-strength concrete columns. Introduce the load setting. At the same time, analyze some strength guideline relationships of super-high-strength concrete.The factors that affect the ductility of super-high-strength concrete short columns are analyzed through the test and the minimum steel indices of the boops in terms of different design axial force ratios and earthquake resistant grades are recommended. The test research of shear strength of super-high-strength concrete short columns is carried out in the paper. The main factors that affect the shear strength of super-high-strength concrete columns are analyzed. The shear strength formula of super-high-strength concrete columns is put forward through the test. The calculated results are corresponding with test results well.The experimental research on the mechanical performance is carried out. The main factors such as axial compression ratio, stirrup ratio, steel ratio and shear span ratio, which affect the ductility of steel reinforced super-high-strength concrete short columns, are analyzed. Limited values on axial compression ratio of steel reinforced super-high-strength concrete short columns are gained through the test. The test research of shear strength of steel reinforced super-high-strength concrete columns is also carried out. The main factors that affect the shear strength of steel reinforcement super-high-strength concrete columns is put forward, which based on the superposed strength method.
