The soil nailing supporting also is called soil nailed wall supporting, soil nailing for short; which is a kind of newly arising technique for foundation pit supporting. And nowadays the technique develops very fast and gets an extensive application. This supporting system has many advantages, for example the construction is convenient, the construction time is short, and the cost of the engineering is small. Belonging to the gentle supporting, it has a large displacement. To make up the disadvantage of the soil nailing supporting's large displacement, and to expand the application field of the soil nailing supporting system, in many engineering constructions, the compound forms of soil nailing supporting system are mostly adopted to undertake the pressure of the soil, which soil nailing is combined with the cement mixing pile, the pre-stress soil nailing and mini-pile etc.In recent years, the combined supporting system consisted of soil nailing and mini-pile has been developed from construction sites. It is a kind of efficient supporting system, used for the deep foundation engineering, which exerts the advantage of the flexibility of the soil nailing supporting and the advantage of the rigidity of the mini-pile supporting. And it is an economic, safe, dependable and stable supporting system currently. Being limited by the complexity of the soil nailing supporting's mechanism, this kind of combined supporting system which has an extensive application on the deep foundation engineering, yet has not formed a series of theory system. The research toward this kind of combined supporting system is lacked at home and abroad.In order to accurately and conveniently study the supporting system combined with the soil nailing and the mini-pile, we apply the finite element method to numerically simulate and analyse it. The finite element method is a widely used numerical analysis method in the study of deformation of the rock and soil under force nowadays. It has advantages of all-round considerations of the complicated engineering geologicconditions and hydrogeological conditions, such as the aeolotropy, the heterogeneity and the discontinuity of the medium and the complicated boundary condition that chances in company with time and etc. By using of the electronic computer to handle the mass of the numerical operation, we can get the most accurate data and charts about the inner stress and the strain of rock and soil and their integral deformation, which can reflect the whole stress and strain of foundation pit and the strain of each point under force immediately and dynamically.Main intention of this articles is that with the FEM we analyze the application of the supporting combined with soil nailing and the mini-pile (as following called combined supporting, CS for short) in actual construction; according to the actual measuring data from a great deal of experiments and the solution and analysis on the model established by ANSYS, a large finite element analysis software, we study the distribution conditions of the supporting system's inner stress and strain, and try to figure out the analysis and the computation methods to match this kind of combined supporting system, and what's more, we can provide the locale construction with a theory or warranty.
