In geosynthetics reinforced soil engineering, the characteristics of friction between soils and Geosynthetics and how to deal with the relation of reinforced material and soil will affect the design of engineering directly. Therefore the study of reinforced soil interface is critical, and some works had been done in this paper:1. Direct shear test was performed in four different sizes of soil and Geosynthetics,the purpose is that, 1) the interface characteristics and the effect of reforcment changes with the size of grain orderly; 2) the effect of interface friction and cohensive strength on the interface function changes with the size of grain and kind of reinforced materials; 3)the relationship between the peak value when destroied and the material.2. FLAC3D was used to calculate and analyze the effect of reinforcement and unreinforcement, calculating results showed that reinforcement has great effect on restricting lateral displacement and homogenizing of stress distribution, but has little effect on sedimentation; the effect is obvious between the field from the earth of surface to four meters down away the earth of surface, and it is most distinct under the earth of surface two meters away. Under the same conditions, two layers geogrid and three layers geogrid were calculated, conclusions were gained that the function of restricting lateral displacement and homogenizing of stress distribution becomes evident with the increasing of the reinforced layers, but effect of reinforcement in the topper becomes worse than that in surface of the groundsill.Conclusion can be acquired, after analyzing the impact of reinforced material layers on reinforced effect under multiplicate working conditions, that two layers geogrid is the best choose for both good reinforcement effect and economic benefits under the conditions such as this paper.
