With the development of economy of our country, it is very great demand for the electric energy. It is also very important for reforming the project of power plant while making great efforts to guarantee the electric energy to increase.The hydropower station generally lie in remote mountain area, the traffic is inconvenient, Worker's living environment is relatively bad. Hydropower station of our country generally have backwardness of technical equipment at present ,It monitored and controlled field situation totally by human, The automatic degree is low, Electric energy quality is unstable ,And worker's working environment is abominable , Labors intensity is great ,The accident is frequent, production efficiency is low .One hydropower station is the second class hydropower station, The hydropower station adopts guide water to generate electricity, The control of dam's gate is made up of the Spillway sluice, Flushing sluice, Breast wall and pump for deep well, Because the original system adopts the routine to control, Dependability is low, Do not accord with the request that the computer monitoring, So It is essential for the original control system to renew. The PLC is communicated to the computer, the supervise computer analyses and processes the information by the PLC. The PLC collects the information through FieldBus. The paper researches the control and remote supervision of dam. It is introduced the design of Monitoring Control System of the hydropower station that be based on FieldBus. The control system adopts the layered network topology structure. The operator on duty can get the information of all kinds of sluice by PLC through upper computer.The paper discusses the several kinds of FieldBus which used widely at present, and has made an introduction and compared to the domestic and foreign configuration software, at last PROFIBUS and iFIX is choice in this paper. The paper introduces PROFIBUS especially PROFIBUS-DP in detail. The paper pays more attention to the design of SCADA of upper computer by iFIX. In order to realize real-time control, alarm, data statistics, data inquiry, equipment information, report and other functions, the iFIX used to deal with all upperinformation. Through developing such configuration pictures as various kinds of monitoring, state, control, Fault, data statistics, etc., make field state clear display on the computer screen.The grey system theory has been greatly developed and applied in social economy since grey theory was estabished in 1982 .It may be good tools that grey forcasting, grey relation analysis, grey clustering, grey decision of the grey system theory because of character and new method.This is the grey system processing exactly this problem because Fault diagnosis is a process that making use of some known information forecast, judge, decide to poor information system.the paper introduces the basic theory of the grey system, and specifies the application of relational grade of grey system. Combine the reality of the paper, applies the grey relational grade in the fault diagnosis of the motors, and proposes the fault diagnosis of motors based on the grey system.
