The purpose of developing Visualization program for helicopter flying qualityevaluation is to observe and analysis the data produced during the course of flyingquality evaluation easily. On Linux platform, the program was based on VTK anddeveloped with C/C++. The program include four class: 2D visualization class, 3D solid visualizationclass,3D surface visualization class and picture class. 2D visualization class hasmanaging grid and arrow function, dividing viewports function, animation functionand so on. 3D solid visualization class and 3D surface visualization class have thefunction of visualizing the scalar and vector. Moreover, 3D surface visualization classcan produce 2D data file. Picture class provides function of marking on the picture.With Tcl/Tk and C/C++ mixed programming technique, test system for visualizationprogram was accomplished. Black box method is used to test flying qualityevaluation system of Helicopters with the idea of software engineering: each moduleis tested alone. The results show that flying quality evaluation program of Helicoptersis successful.
