Research On A Bearingless PM Slice Motor

The bearingless slice motor utilizes the bearingless technology to realize the radial suspension, and realize the suspension of the other 3 freedom degrees by the reluctance force. It is a new high-integration magnetic suspension motor which has a good application prospect in the fields of ultra-pure driving and the pose control of the spacecraft. In this paper, first, the basic principle of suspension of the bearingless permanent magnetic slice motor is introduced. Second, the formula of the radial force of a six-tooth structure is deduced by equal magnetic circuit model and proved by the analysis of finite element. And the control strategy is introduced on the base of the radial force model. Third, the key technology of the bearingless slice motor is discussed. At last the realization of the prototype is detailed.
