Based on the study of three-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU ) used in weapons, according to the virtue of micro silicon gyro, including low cost, small volume(size), high security and situation, present development tempo of weapon technology in our country, the paper systematically and thoroughly expound the study of Miniature Silicon IMU in theory and in application. Combining with the least square method, how to build mathematical model to compensation and list measuring result; presents transfer alignment technology scheme about tactical gyro, and lucubrate optimal calibrating moment and possible induced error. The main research content are summarized as following: 1. Integrate design low-cast scheme of Inertial Measurement Unit; 2. Successfully develop hardware, measuring software of miniature silicon Inertial Measurement Unit. 3. According with the experiment on miniature silicon Inertial Measurement Unit, analyze bias instability and non-reiteration, and ultimately summarize and classify the error; 4. Pertain to the sensibility to temperature and vibration of low-precision gyro, respectively build compensation model and test the result; 5. Propose the part-phase bias calibration scheme; 6. Emulate optical TD moment and possible induced error. Produce the TD technology application on tactical gyro, combining with working situation and performance of inertial devices, reduce TD time to millisecond rank, presents transfer alignment technology scheme about tactical gyro and build mathematical model, process corresponding emulation; The paper completely presents the study of a new-style low cost Si-IMU, and managed to cut down the drift in zero two levels. The work is successful case in widening the usage of the type gyro. Certainly it is worthy of going further the study.
