As the environmental problems have been becoming more and more severer, as a kind of renewable clean energy, solar energy is praised as the most hopeful energy in the 21st century. Currently the most potential development of solar energy is used in the buildings. The problems of how to combine the solar thermal utilization with architecture have not been resolved perfectly.Firstly, this paper introduces the world's energy problems and the policies of our country in reducing the constructing consumption and enumerates ways of applying the solar energy to heated residential buildings. Secondly, through systematic research on the heating system principles of solar energy, the analyzes the heating way in many-storeyed residences that applies solar energy floor, and from the esthetics aspect explores how to combine solar energy with the construstion, then completes a design with makes solar energy heating system and the building intergrated, and also carries on a financial evaluation to this design. Finally, this paper puts forward counterplan of using solar energy in lately set up and current many-storeyed tall residences, proving the possibility of using solar energy on many-storeyed tall residences.
