Based on the Cangling Tunnel of the Tai-jin expressway, the paper has carried on the following aspects: analysis of similar theory to the long tunnel asphalt pavement fire scaled model, the research of numerical simulation to the asphalt pavement temperature response and smoke under the different fire scene, the discussion to the combustion characteristic of asphalt and the asphalt mixture.By the research to the model experiment similar theory, had determined the model scale that can reflect the actual situation, as well as the geometry size, the model material, the boundary condition and the simulation load of the scaled tunnel model.By the establishment of numerical model about the four kinds of different fire scenes, the paper researched the influence of the place, the entrance wind velocity and the fire grade to the asphalt pavement, and got the mechanism of the asphalt pavement temperature distribution and the smog diffusion.Research to the fire smog dynamic diffusion mechanism, the paper proposed the influence mechanism of the high temperature smog to the asphalt pavement surface temperature.Analysis to the asphalt combustion characteristic, the paper proposed the appraisal factors to the asphalt combustibility, designed the test of the asphalt combustion and the tunnel scaled model experiment.
