The problem of concrete crack has been concerned especially in the field of engineering. Status of shear loads and shear fracture of concrete exist greatly in factual engineering. Simultaneously, skeletal material being used in engineering in concrete also is different from others. Therefore, studying the problem of â…¡ concrete fracture is very significant. The double-edge four-point loading specimens are often adapted on the way researching the mode â…¡ concrete fracture. This paper detailed studies of the four-point shear double-edge specimens with different skeletal materials by the double-edge four-point loading specimens. Concrete is a kind of complex multiple materials on structure, interface capability between cement and different skeletal materials influences greatly domino effect of kick pleat and leaning fold during crack spreading. The paper has been on observation for the fashion of crack spreading on interface made up of different materials through the experiment. On the basic of the experimental investigations, the degenerated wedged element put forward by Barsoum is used to simulate the property of stress oddity near crack tip. And, applying finite element method and the displacement method, stress intensity factors of â…¡ concrete fracture are obtained. Further, the three-dimensional finite element model for this research is presented. Mechanical behaviors of four-point shear specimens analyzed by the software ANSYS. The result shows that because of the special mechanical properties of concrete (tension resistance is lower than the shear resistance), stress field of crack tip causes the breakage of tensile and shear under the condition of shear loading. The paper uses a kind of interface fracture model of half infinity body which forecasts two possible routes crack expanding, namely pass through...
